About

The School of Pharmacy at The University of Queensland is the longest established pharmacy school in Queensland, providing pharmacy education since 1960.

The School offers a range of programs to meet the growing demand for highly skilled pharmacy professionals, from undergraduate Bachelor of Pharmacy, to Research Higher Degrees and Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy.

In January 2010, the School relocated from its previous premises within the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus, to a purpose built facility, The Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence (PACE).

As one of the country’s leading pharmacy education and research precincts, PACE offers state-of-the-art teaching facilities such as interactive dispensing and counseling spaces, cutting-edge teaching laboratories, a pharmacy dedicated branch of the UQ Library and innovative private and group study spaces.

Co-located with clinical facilities at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Pharmacy’s peak professional body, the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, the School of Pharmacy at PACE offers students a comprehensive study experience that enables immersion in the pharmacy profession from day one of their studies.
