Researcher biography

Karen Luetsch completed her undergraduate pharmacy training and PhD in Germany before moving to Australia in 1995. Karen has a background in hospital pharmacy as specialist pharmacist and manager and in the management and delivery of educational intitiatives to health professionals across all health care settings.

Karen's research interests focus on pharmacy and health professional education and pharmacists' attitudes and behaviours in practice. Patient-centred and interprofessional communication and practice are some of her past and current research topics. Karen is also a course coordinator and lecturer in the postgraduate clinical pharmay programme.
