Abstract

The Centre for Living Experience Research (LEX) is a new transdisciplinary research centre being established at UQ, dedicated to advancing the theory, methodology, and practice of lived and living experience research. In this showcase, Sarah will introduce the vision and mission of LEX and share how the centre aims to build capacity, connect researchers across the Faculty, and influence how health and social research is conducted and valued. Sarah will also introduce the Qualitative Collective, a UQ-wide network of researchers, clinicians, and students with an interest in qualitative and mixed methods research. She will share how the Qualitative Collective connects to the broader LEX vision and how Faculty members can get involved.
