Provide an industry placement for a University of Queensland student
The UQ School of Pharmacy’s new Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice (MPharmIndPrac) is the first of its kind in providing practical pathways to students in the pharmaceutical industry.
To ensure our students lead long, successful careers in the industry, the School of Pharmacy is seeking to offer our students the widest range of high quality placements, and are looking for organisations to partner as placement providers.
The first cohort of MPharmIndPrac students commenced in Semester 2, 2019 and will be commencing their placements in Semester 2, 2020, with a new cohort entering the Program every semester.

About the MPharmIndPrac
Encompassing one year of industry-focussed coursework, the program is then completed with two x 18 week industry placements targeted to a multitude of positions including:
• Clinical trials
• Post-registration life cycle management
• Medical departments
• Marketing
• Drug design and formulation
• Regulatory affairs
• Relevant early-stage executive and leadership roles.
