Overview
Courses cover all stages of the drug or device development process:
- Drug design and formulation
- Pre-clinical drug development
- Clinical drug development and biometrics (including a GCP Certificate)
- Post-registration life cycle management
- Device development, drug manufacturing, regulatory affairs and governance
- Project management and commercialisation in the pharmaceutical industry
Students may undertake one or two extended industry placements (3-5 months), in any field related to the program, including:
- Clinical Research
- Formulations
- Manufacturing
- Market Access
- Marketing
- Medical Affairs
- Pharmacovigilance
- Production
- Project Management
- QA/QC
- R&D
- Regulatory Affairs
- The minimum requirement for a placement is 12 weeks, and can extend to 23 weeks
- Placements can be intrastate, interstate, international or virtual
- Placements are unpiad but there is the option to offer a bursary to assist with living costs
- Students are shortlisted and selected by you
