School of Pharmacy Student Leader Program
Why join a peer mentoring program? Being a ‘mentee’ is not just about having a mentor to guide you through your first semester. It’s also about connecting with other students new to UQ, and discovering your strengths. (There are also plenty of free and fun activities along the way!)
By joining Pharmacy Student Leader Program you can:
- Meet with a mentor one-on-one throughout the semester
- Learn how to thrive at UQ
- Join group events on and off campus
- Build future networks
- Become part of a community.
Mentee eligibility
- First semester, first year Pharmacy students enrolled in Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons)
For further information and to sign up, visit the Pharmacy page on the UQ Mentoring app.
Peer mentoring programs allow our new students to find and connect with a mentor and receive guidance from someone who has 'stood exactly where they are now'. As a mentor you have the opportunity to share your knowledge, facilitate social connection and be an approachable person for new students to talk with.
